Dr. Erika Fullwood Augustine is Associate Chief Science Officer at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Associate Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Her clinical research program focuses on advancing therapeutic development for rare pediatric neurological disorders, with emphasis on comprehensive clinical phenotyping and trial design in the neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses.

Dr. Augustine is an Executive Committee member of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders (NINDS) Child Neurology Career Development (K12) Program, leads the Minority Research Scholars Program, and is Associate Editor for Annals of Neurology. She also serves as a board member for the American Brain Coalition. Dr. Augustine is a prior recipient of the Sidney Carter Award from the American Academy of Neurology.
