Advancing Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) in Residency Training

The ABPN is issuing this one-time Request for Applications to advance the exploration of competency-based medical education (CBME) in psychiatry, neurology, and child neurology residency training. Funding will support investigator-led projects to develop competency outcomes and assessment tools and study their usefulness and feasibility across training programs, with the goal of strengthening resident assessment, feedback, and decisions about readiness for independent practice.
