Andrea G. Stolar, MD
Dr. Stolar is Professor of Psychiatry and Advisory Dean for the School of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston TX. Formerly the Senior Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Stolar continues to serve BCM trainees and students as faculty for the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship and as advisor to the Office of Student Affairs.
She is certified by the ABPN in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry and participates in continuing certification. As an ABPN Director, Dr. Stolar serves on the Psychiatry Council, as Treasurer, and as a Chair and Co-Chair of several ABPN committees.
Dr. Stolar served as Vice Chair of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Residency Review Committee for Psychiatry and previously chaired the Forensic Psychiatry Working Group, Subspecialty Milestone Project, and as a member of the Forensic Psychiatry Milestones 2.0 Work Group. A Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Stolar served on the Council on Psychiatry and the Law, and the Committee on Psychiatry in the Workplace.
